Hi ca(r/t)-lovers,
Well, I don't fancy cats.
They like to sit on my $31.000 car and make scratches with their sharp
nails: expecially when the car is waxed, thus slippery, in which case they
extend their claws to get some grip. And they love to walk over my car,
for no apparent reason: I can see their (sandy!) footprints going from the
right rear fender, over the plastic rearview window, over the softtop, to
the sidewindow. If they just want to sleep on my car, because the bonnet
is warm, then I understand. But walking over it, instead of under..?
And cat urine certainly smells, as do cat litter. As the whole
neighbourhood has cats, and we don't, they think of our car-port as Their
territorium. Yes, there is one way to fix this: take a cat yourself, which
probably is why everyone in the neighbourhood has a cat... :-(
I now have the burgular alarm activated every night, to scare them off
when they walk over the rooftop. That's right: not to scare off burgulars,
but to scare off the cats!
Ciao!
Marc
(had a parakeet for 13 years who died from old age, now I have a Fiat
barchetta :-)
