Stina dreams while she looks out over the Golfo di Manfredonia

Old and fascinating historic town. Stina is waiting outside a "Cantoniera". We found this spot in the middle of Foresta Umbra. The dark wood. It was very deserted too. But a wonderful place to be driving in. Centro Storico at Vieste made us dream. We recommend Vieste, really. www.vacanzevieste.it

Mandatory tours on very, very small and narrow roads. That's the fun part of the Cuore Sportivo. South side of Gargano. The road was the regular road used by everyone. no traffic hardly in September.

Looking down, it was quite high and a lot of strong winds. Stina is looking down. Night time in Vieste. A lot of good Italian restaurants.

After two lovely weeks in Gargano and Vieste, we drove to Rome. On the way we spent some time in Montecassino. This is the monastery. www.montecassino.it Just outside Montecassino there is a graveyard. Soldiers from the UK rest here. Thank you.
