My Alfa Romeo pictures of my friends and their precious pearls and a lot more!

  1. Just visited your site and enjoyed all the stories and pictures. If you
can add mine that would be fabulous.

My affairs with Alfas started in highschool with a 1969 Berlina. I updated
the engine to european specifications. I moved up to a 1969 boattail
spider that came to me with a blown engine. Married life and children kept
an Alfa out of my garage until I saved a 1984 Veloce from doom. The car
had been in storage in a garage for 7+ years in a suburb of Chicago.
Neglected, the car need a major make-over that took nearly 12 months to
complete. The wait was worth it! I now have a head-turning, super
reliable spider for extended fun-filled driving on weekends.

    Take care Sanders

  3.  Hi Willie, Happy New Year!
My red Duetto is vin number AR660062. Sadly, it is all not original (has the 1750 engine with dual Webers). It must be a '66 because of the 15" wheels,  but the side mirror is on the door, not the cowl, so it is not that early.  I'll send you some pix with the high-speed line at work tomorrow - maybe you can tell me what I've really got.

     My Duetto

Here is a Candian Duetto. The restoration process has just been completed in late 2003. Mint condition owned by

  4. Attached is a picture of my Quad Spider with the Hardtop on . This Hardtop is made by Parish Plastics in Pennsylvania, USA. Fits well and car is very snug. This was taken just before snow started to fall - we are in the midst of the worst storm in years right now ! I'm sure you could teach us something about living with the snow conditions.

  5. Dear Wille,

First my complements for your wonderfull internetsite. Here a email from an Alfa-fan from The Netherlands. Since 1 year I am the proud owner of a Alfa Romeo Spider 2000 Veloce coda tronca) from 1978. I am trying to find out the exact color code. I think it is Farina red but I am not shure. Do you know if the colorcodes have been changed and if these codes are the same for the Duetto en for the coda tronca? Can I get a printable version of the red color codes from your site, that would help me finding out the correct code. In anticipation thank you very much.

Herewith I send you a picture of my Spider on a Dutch racetrack (Zandvoort) during a clubmeeting.

    Best regards René Hendriks

  6. Hi Wille

Please find attached a pic of my 94 Spider. I've always wanted a Spider so
consider myself very fortunate to own such a beautiful car. It's true what
they say, they do have a character and soul unlike any other car. Website is
excellent and the notice board is a great source of help and advice. Best
    wishes
