President Massimiliano says welcome. The DCI, www.duettoclub.it arranged the meeting, or Raduno as they say in Italian. At last, Italian lunch. It tastes so good.   Everybody's talking, about Alfa Romeo Duetto of course. Gava  - Gaetano Vaccaro in the middle with beard an

Some of us had lunch outside. . . . . .while Bebo was enjoying himself inside together with Riccardone far left and Bebo's Antonella in the center of attraction. The Cathedral of Orvieto is very scenic.

Orvieto is located on top of a cliff of red stones. The cathedral was built in 1290 - 1600. A lot of beatiful mosaic makes the Dome so special.  Close to the Dome is the Palazzo Vescovile, the Bishop's Palace.

Then, after such an excellent lunch in Umbria, you will need to walk an burn some calories. Here Nero817, left and to the right  Riccardone stroll to the catacombs. On the way to the catacombs of Orvieto, this is what you see. Hills of Umbria, origin of Orvieto wines. The catacombs were founded more than 800 years ago. It is a special feeling to breath under the Cathedral. Here Stina is trying to catch up with Maurizio74 and his lovely grilfriend.

In Oriento, don't miss the caves. They are basically catacombs, or tombs and were used to escape and hide from enemies. A historic feeling when you enter the caves and small narrow roads under the Cathedral. When you have an Alfa Romeo, never worry about old problems. You'll soon get new trouble. Nero817 Is a bit worried.

Must be something loose? Nero817 is even more puzzled. What is that thing down under? Porca miseria, Nero817. Finally!

Bebo is supervising and making an inspection. Tutto bene. Hills of Umbria again in the sun. The proud Duetto owner 2tto66 opens the bonnet to show his engine once more. Yeah! Always good to see an old Giulietta Spider from the early -60's.

Warm engines and then, andiamo. The historic part of Orvieto makes a good engine sound even better. Double carburetors and twin cam engines at its best.
